This week was focused more on AI, art, music, and design.
This week, I think my posts are mostly focused on design, AI art, and music.
I was floored with this

Luxury on a budget
As architects who raised a family in a messy cluttered home, we had forgotten many of the principles of good design that could help make our space feel luxurious. A couple of YouTube channels I saw that explain how to do this. Hope we can apply many of these principles when we move to a new home to retire...

Studio Ghibli-style ASMR AI videos.
There are some channels showing beautiful Studio Ghibli-style animation with ASMR sounds. This blog post features a video that shows how to create these.

A profitable YouTube niche
I was originally listening, watching some videos from Faceless Finance channels, but where the content resonated with me. I even gave a $5 tip to one of those videos. Then suddenly I discovered that these are being created by AI. In this post, I share examples of these, both the channels and how to create these videos. I don't know if I'll end up creating a channel in the future 😂

I heard a RUMI song that I found haunting.
I played this on repeat many times early in the morning, 3-4 am. Then I got obsessed trying to dissect the music and created my own version of a similar Rumi poem.

AI art samples

This post features examples of my entries for the daily AI art challenge on three different days in the past week. All three challenges have videos.

Sesame Street and parklets
This post explores how the urban planning principles of Jane Jacobs influenced both the design of Sesame Street stoop and parklets. It also briefly explores parklets in San Francisco, London, and New York.

Rust Angel.
This music video was my entry for the daily challenge on February 1st, and the post explains how I created it in less than an hour using OpenArt.
A 3 minute music video created in under an hour.
Bonus
Here are two writing tips from Jono Hey (sketchplantations) who does brilliant illustrations, and has a wonderful book for the visual learners.

And that's all for this week. The Winter Olympics opening ceremony was a visual and auditory treat, really beautiful. I loved it, and look forward to watching some winter sports over the coming week.
SouperBowl today (collection at evening Mass in church of Canned Soup and non-perishable goods), followed tomorrow by Bad Bunny etc. at Superbowl
More icy weather (in the east coast at least) this weekend. Stay warm...
