006 Newsletter - February 14, 2026
Once again it's been a fantastically busy and productive week for me. At work I made significant changes to a dashboard for Year-Up and Pathways, and also automated the internal mobility one, which is scheduled to run on Alteryx gallery automatically. Additionally I helped include employers from the background screening team into the talent acquisition dashboard.
On the personal front this week I wrote a dozen blog posts and have crossed over a hundred blog posts!
Because of regular repetition, I find it easy to write blog posts now with very little help from AI. It's mostly just dictating to Wispr Flow.
AI tools and productivity
The My First Million podcast hosts discuss some lesser known cool AI tools they played around with.

Meanwhile two other well-known YouTube channel hosts discuss something big in AI this week. They urge you to experiment with paid AI tools or risk getting left behind.

AI Art and Music
First I share a couple of different animated Valentine's Day e-cards that I have designed for Eileen. One was commissioned by someone from Ukraine in 2021 and one I did via AI yesterday.
I remade my Caffeine and Daydreams music video and explain how I was able to generate it locally on my computer in a reasonable time. Special thanks to Ivo and Chris, two of my newsletter subscribers both in Europe who helped me via Discord.
In professional AI videos with free tools, I share how to create great videos from NotebookLM.

Cable portrait was a daily art challenge where I shared my four entries on this theme. Below is one example. My favorite was a Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny Super Bowl-inspired video clip that unfortunately didn't resonate with the international members on Discord.

Old lady from the future was another art challenge. My entries range from Hannah Barbara cartoon to robotic plastic surgery and robotic caregivers.
Random stuff I found interesting
I had an article on curling, a Winter Olympic sport, that I find unique.
I talked about swarm intelligence as displayed by ants.
There was a book review on designing your life

And one Interior design focused post on big ideas for small spaces. I am particularly impressed by the while wall beds, which are like murphy beds.
Have a fantastic Valentine's Day weekend!
I am planning to take a break from writing blog posts for a couple of weeks.
