Cable Portrait

This was the theme of the Daily Art Challenge on February 12th. We are allowed up to four items, which can be images, videos, or songs, each day.

No 1:

My first attempt was to use MidJourney and create a man wrapped in cable.

No 2:

here I wanted to combine (i) a street with a lot of overhead wires together with (ii) a grandma knitting. I found two separate images and used nano banana pro in Openart to create my image.

No 3:

For my third image I decided to do an artist painting a portrait of the cable guy.

This was similarly done in Openart by combining two images as references. The final output was well received on the Discord community.

No 4:

This was my most advanced edit, but sadly this did not resonate with the international audience on the Discord 🙁

It was inspired by the Super Bowl halftime show where Bad Bunny had climbed up an electric pole, representing in Puerto Rico common people were forced to connect cables together during power outage in storms. I decided to make include Lady Gaga in the Puerto Rican flag color blue dress admiring the portrait in a museum. I made the portrait an animation with sparks using Kling 2.5 model.

Conclusion:

I hope this post shows you how easy it is to create sophisticated composite artwork and even video clips that used to take over an hour of editing within just minutes using a tool like Nano banana pro within Openart.
