Rust Angel

On February 1st, I created this music video entry for the Daily Challenge at the Pixaroma Discord. The theme was Rust Angel.

The song was created by ChatGPT. The theme is about theabandoned steel mills in the Rust Belt. At the gate of the mill stands a rusted angel statue.

I think for AI videos, my favorite genre is country. So naturally I went for a country song.

After I created the song mp3 file in Suno, I used OpenArt to create the music video. This time I use the SeedDream model, which uses less credits than NanoBanana Pro. I chose to create music video using a consistent character. The character was a watercolor-style country singer with a guitar outside an abandoned steel mill.

Maybe in 15-20 minutes, OpenArt created the entire video. The only problem was, the video had a watermark at the bottom. I went to the edit video and downloaded all the individual segments that comprise the music video. I imported them into CapCut. I imported the original mp3 music. I also created a transparent PNG logo that I placed at the bottom of my video. I gave it a white drop shadow, and I used Gemini to tell me the steps in Photoshop. Once the video was ready, I exported it at 4K resolution and uploaded it to YouTube.

The whole process was pretty easy and probably took me less than an hour.
