Stop Hiring Humans: Is the Global Order Collapsing ?

Konstantin Kisin says the post-WWII global rulebook is toast, and a chaotic new era of nuclear "insurance policies" has taken its place. Combine that with AI billboards literally telling companies to "Stop hiring humans," and it’s clear why everyone feels like the future is being stolen.

On the Diary of a CEO channel, I saw this Konstantin Kisin talk, on why the world feels so chaotic right now.

A lengthy interview that I watched

  • The Global "Rules" are Gone: International law only works if someone can back it up, and Kisin says that "shared myth" is toast.
  • Europe is Fading Out: By prioritizing welfare over growth, Europe and the UK are becoming spectators in the global power game.
  • The Nuclear Insurance Policy: Having nukes is now the only way to guarantee nobody messes with your borders, which is sparking a new arms race.
  • We’re All Getting Poorer: Most people are high-key worse off than they were 20 years ago, and global instability is only going to drain more resources away from home.

Why our generation is so stressed

He points out that the feeling of a "stolen future" isn't just in our heads—it’s being accelerated by tech. He actually mentions seeing those San Francisco Waymos at the 29:11 mark as a moving monument to human displacement, but the real "villain arc" moment is that Artisan AI billboard that literally tells companies “Stop Hiring Humans.”

Last year I took a ride to San Francisco Chinatown in a self driving Taxi, but now these are in several cities

Artisan must have done this ad for shock value, but I was not pleased because this is what's happening these days... 😦
  • AI as the "Stolen Future" Catalyst: When you see self-driving cars and "Don't hire humans" billboards, it’s clear the old job market is dying.
  • The Radical Turn: Young people are leaning into radical politics because they feel the current system has zero room for them.
  • Voluntary vs. Forced Wealth Shifts: If we don't figure out a way to handle AI wealth, we’re headed for some pretty intense, state-mandated redistribution.
  • The New Survival Kit: Forget traditional credentials—the new "must-have" skills are extreme adaptability, creativity, and just being a problem-solver.

Marie Antoinette apparently said "Let them eat cake," which led to the French Revolution. Now AI tech CEO's seem to telling young CS graduates to "Eat Crab" (crap) (sign near my hotel in Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco)
