Oct 3rd "Neutral"

Oct 31, Halloween

I wasn't inspired on Halloween Day because for a month we had been doing Halloween- and spooky-themed edits.

Something for the ComfyUI fans on the PixAroma Discord.
Inspired by Edward Hopper's famous painting "The NightHawks"

Nov 1st, Mamma Mia

This one is a song where I wrote about being fed up of doing Halloween-themed edits the whole month of October.

Mamma Mia is associated with pasta, so I wanted to try a Lady and the Tramp-inspired edit. ComfyUI, which the Discord uses, is also associated with noodles. I wanted to blend the two ideas in.

Gemini and Chat, even ChatGPT, refused to do this because of intellectual property rights. However I know that Meta, and even more so Elon Musk's Grok, seem especially lax regarding blocking images for IP.

Created via Grok

Five famous ladies named Mia are featured in this one.

Weekly Edit Challenge #1

At my suggestion Ioan (aka Pixaroma) introduced a new weekly challenge where people are provided a photo and they have to make creative or funny edits from it.

Easter Bunny doesn't belong at Christmas and the background, incidentally, is Romania.

I used "Where's Waldo" character to identify the Easter bunny that has stolen eggs.

Weekly Edit Challenge #2

This entry of mine played upon the bunny from the previous week's challenge

And this one was popular with the predominantly male Discord members. It is based on a 1960's song by Brian Hyland.

Nov 2nd, 80's mood

In 1986 I was transplanted from New Delhi to snowy Buffalo, where it's covered with snow. It's also the year I managed to buy my first computer, an IBM XT. I lived in a house. I rented a room in a house with three other people. There was a TV in the living room playing MTV all the time. I try to capture some of that mood in the image below.

Here I created a neon magenta-teal synthwave style clip popular in the 80's. I tried to combine a VHS tape unwinding into a road. For music I used an excerpt from British group Gunship, where I knew a couple of the band members, because they also created the Werble IOS animation app that I was an avid user of 8 years ago

On Discord, user srv85 shared an image of a lady in an arcade that I really liked. Discord images using ComfyUI include the workflow and prompt used to generate the image. I downloaded it to understand the model he used, and recreated a similar image shown below using Krea2.

November 3rd, Neutral

This proved to be a very challenging theme and I was not at all inspired 🙍‍♂️

I use the neutral emoji here for this one.

AI suggested the idea - Maybe Star Trek fans might know what this is?
